WIFC Aims and Objectives

To organise meetings, visits, seminars, conferences and other events to bring people of different faiths together and pursue particular issues in greater depth.

To work in partnership with other voluntary and statutory bodies to promote community cohesion in the City.

To encourage inter-faith co-operation on specific issues through collaborative planning and delivery.

To facilitate visits by schools to places of worship in order to raise awareness of the rich diversity of faiths and beliefs present in our society.

To publish resources including a quarterly newsletter to disseminate knowledge and understanding about different faiths and to share good practice in the interfaith area.
