Mission Statement

To provide education aimed specifically at nurturing and disseminating knowledge and understanding of the rich diversity of religious beliefs and practices within the City of Wolverhampton with the purpose of supporting community cohesion through dialogue and collaboration on specific projects.

Organisation Profile

The Wolverhampton Inter Faith Council is a coalition of 200 individuals and over 50 faith organisations in the City and was set up in 1974. It aims to work with the diverse communities living in Wolverhampton in order to foster and nurture mutual understanding and appreciation between different faiths. It seeks to arrange, encourage and support dialogue between different faiths, communities and agencies so as to encourage tolerance, mutual respect and harmony.
